For Western Mass Beer Week 2019, Abandoned Building and Vanished Valley Brewing collaborated on a guava-grapefruit milkshake IPA, which they named Nothing But a G Thing. Wanting to avoid the obvious Dr. Dre reference, as the beer does not have IPA characteristics one would refer to as "dank" or "heady," I designed a label that would instead imply tropical juiciness. The color palate is inspired by guava and grapefruit, and the green background is textured like a guava peel.
