Western Mass Beer Week is a weeklong celebration of the beer brewed in Western Massachusetts. In creating the logo, I was inspired by Western Mass's topography: the Seven Sisters mountain range and the Connecticut River that winds through the valley below. The tulip glass, which is more refined than an ordinary pint glass, is literally "rooted" in the land, representing the close relationship between farming and craft beer in Western Massachusetts.
Branding for Western Mass Beer Week has extended beyond logo design to posters, postcards, coasters, t-shirts, vinyl banners, a website, and even temporary tattoos!
